So Taylor just took his Step 2 (aka the 2nd of 3 parts of Boards) which is pretty much the second most important test he will have to take in medical school. He took Step I last year and did awesome, so we are only hoping that the same sort of score shows up this year too. To celebrate we went to Buddakan in Center City. Buddakan is one of the Starr Restaurants in Philadelphia. They have quite the reputation here on the East Coast, and we now know why. The food was "Asian Cuisine." It was sooo good. Although we ordered my second choice on the menu, it was after all Taylor's night so he got to choose the entree. Nevertheless, the service, cuisine, and ambiance of the restaurant was spectacular. Here are some photos of our night. I LOVE the culture here in Philly, even though we aren't leaving for another 10 months.. I am REEEEAALLLY GOING TO MISS THIS PLACE!!
Step II is OVER!!!!
Isn't it gorgeous!!!
The "Special" for the night appetizer. They were yummy eggrolls and a spicy salad.
The very LARGE Budda in the center of the restaurant.
Our Calamari Salad-- reeally yummy!
The Jumbo Shrimp Pad Thai-- (Taylor's choice--ok, ok, it was good, but I really wanted the Asian Pulled Pork--next time we'll try it--but still this was really awesome and according to our waitress the best Pad Thai in town). I think the best Pad Thai is at Chabba--in Manayunk in case any of you are looking for a good Thai restaurant!
Diggin' in!!
The ambiance....
Me excited about dessert... Hmmm... chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream!
Downtown scenery and a little of Taylor modeling....

Stevens Family
Meet The Stevens Family. This photo shoot was so much fun to do. It's quite the task to get all three kids looking, and smiling at me, but it was the candid shots that made this shoot. This family is sooo adorable. Good looking kids and good looking parents.. how can I complain. Even though it was 110 degrees outside, the kids were good sports, thanks for letting me hangout with your family it was a blast.

CONTEST!!!
Hey friends... I need your help. As you can tell from some of my recent blog posts I love taking pictures of friends and I'd like to think I'm getting the hang of it. Since photography is something I've always loved ever since I studied it back in college, I have decided to turn my hobby into an offical "business venture". (that's what Taylor calls it) This is nothing intense but more for my love of taking pictures. To get my name out there and so you all know that I am available this is an attempt to grab your attention.
This is where I need your help... I need a name for my so called "business." So put your creative brains to work and help me out. I'm throwing in a free photo shoot for whoever comes up with the winning name/title for my photography. (As an aside, I love to do belly shots, family shots, babies, kids, couples, or whatever.)
Good Luck, and I can't wait to hear some of your ideas!!!

Happy Fathers Day!!
I know, I know... Father's Day was on Sunday--- but I didn't sit down to get a post in on Sunday. Although this post is late, we did manage to call both of our Fathers and celebrate Taylor's very first Fathers day! We made yummy persian food with some friends and had a great day. Zoe has the best dad in the whole world. He is funny, compassionate and a complete carnivore--- if he could he would have Zoe breakfast, lunch and dinner. He adores her so much, and its obvious she can't get enough of her daddy either. She really missed him while were gone and couldn't wait to see him when we got back. Thanks Taylor for working so hard for us and being such an amazing husband and Father to peanut and I--- Happy Father's Day!!
Also... a Big Happy Father's Day to my Dad. I love you Dad you are truly a wonderful dad who has always proven to be a strong leader and friend to me. I will always cherish the moments of preach, love and guidance (even though growing up I might not have). Happy Fathers Day!!
Happy Father's Day Steve!! (My Father-in-law) Thank you for always being there for us and for Taylor growing up. He always speaks highly of you and too cherishes the great moments of guidance and support given to him while in his nurturing years. We miss you!!
